Welcome to Live Circuit

We currently have an extensive and rather wonderful website in development so please keep checking back for additions / updates. For now, you can:

Check out the definitive local Gig Guide

The band contact pages on our old website are no longer active, but you can obtain an up to date list, in Word, of around 130 North Herts bands by emailing roger@livecircuit.net.

If you have a website or newsletter, and want to use any of the information contained in Live Circuit newsletters or on the website, feel free. There’s no need to ask… The more people who know, the merrier! An acknowledgement would be appreciated, but isn’t essential.

About Live Circuit

"There is far more genuine musical ability within a few miles of my front door than there is in the UK charts at the moment. The tragedy is that a music industry bereft of ideas cannot capitalise on the extraordinary grass roots talent we have."

Live Circuit is a voluntary, non-profit organisation, dedicated to nurturing and promoting North Hertfordshire’s up and coming original music talent. We offer free local publicity for bands and those providing services for them in the North Hertfordshire area (Stevenage, Hitchin, Letchworth, Baldock and Royston), via our regular music scene newsletters and website. We provide networking and guidance, lobbying, cheap PA and drum kit hire (free to charities), donations to local music ventures, such as the annual Rhythms Of The World festival, opportunities to perform, and a record label releasing compilation and other CDs.

If you have any relevant news on local bands playing original music, or facilities that are available to them, all you need to do is let us know, and we'll pass it on.

Also, we are always in need of people to help out, so if you can spare some time to do some writing, researching or help out at gigs, or if you have any ideas of your own, please just get in touch.

Contacts

Feel free to add our email addresses to any relevant mailing lists, communication's what underground music is about!

Anyway, keep supporting your local scene! And we’ll see you down the front!
